PDCA (Purebred Dairy Cattle Association)
Calf Application Page

Each month the preprinted application is sent from the DRPC to the dairy producer. The dairy producer needs to complete the identification name, hair color, if born twin, the sex of the other twin. Information on ET calves needs to be added as well. Color diagrams are added unless the herd owner is enrolled in one of the Alternative ID options.

TimeSaver
Each month the DRPC* sends the Holstein Association calf information. The Association processes the information and then sends the report to the producer. The breeder double-checks the report, corrects any errors, signs and returns it to the Holstein Association. The Association then produces the registration certificate and mails it to the breeder. This process can be used with any photos, sketches, or Alternative ID options.
*Currently available for producers who process records through AgSource in Wisconsin, Dairy Records Management Systems-Raleigh and Agritech in California.

Identification by phone
Members can phone in their registry applications by calling the Holstein Association's Customer Service unit. If the member has all of the necessary information, an identification number can be assigned to the animal during the same phone call. A completed application will be produced and sent to the owner for signature and color markings, after which a certificate will be issued. If the member is on Tag ID, Tag 'N Tattoo or Tag 'N Freezebrand, a certificate can be produced immediately. There is a $1 surcharge for this service.
