MultiMate for Windows combines the sire selection of Red Book Plus with a very complete and easy to use individual cow mating program. It focuses on each cow in the herd and their individual strengths and weaknesses by looking at their linear trait scores from our classification program or pedigree values, which are calculated when your animal is identified on the Holstein Association database. Data from other sources such as herd management programs can also be loaded in MultiMate for use when making your breeding decisions. Matings are made based on a producer's breeding goals with emphasis placed on traits you want to improve the most - for example, feet and legs, and udder.
