Holstein Association USA to Host Junior Meeting in Texas

Brattleboro, Vermont (December 19, 2007)…Holstein Association USA will host a “Junior Holstein Fire-Up” at the upcoming Fort Worth Stock Show in Fort Worth, TX. The meeting is set for January 12, 2008 from 1-4 p.m. in the Barn 1 Meeting Room. All youth under the age of 21 with an interest in Holsteins and the dairy industry are invited to attend.

“You do not have to be a current Junior Holstein member to attend this meeting. We want to bring together a group of young dairy enthusiasts, show them that our programs are fun and educational, and let them know how they can become more involved,” said Lindsey Worden, Public Relations Specialist.

The “Junior Holstein Fire-Up” will include an informational presentation about Junior Holstein programs followed by a few fun rounds of Dairy Jeopardy and Dairy Bowl. This meeting will be held at the same time, but separate from, the Region 7 Member Meeting.

For more information on this meeting, please contact Lindsey Worden at 1.800.952.5200, ext. 4096 or lworden@holstein.com, or Randy Carpenter at ext. 7337 or rcarpenter@holstein.com.
