Customized Holstein ID Tag

   Following is the procedure for using one Customized Holstein ID Tag and one Mini-Round tag.
        
  1. You enroll in the Customized Holstein ID Program and order a supply of Mini-Round tags. You inform us of your range of herd management numbers and the Holstein Association will process the order and Allflex will ship the tags directly to your farm.
     
  2. Tag your newborn calves at birth or shortly after with the pre-ordered Mini-Round tag.
     
  3. Register your newborn calves every two to three weeks using the EASY 2000 software program (provided free). The electronic applications you submit through EASY will generate the information you selected to be printed on your Customized Holstein ID Tags.
     
  4. The Holstein Association will process your identification applications, and Allflex USA will complete your Customized Tag Order. Your new tags will be shipped to your farm within two to three weeks of receipt of the electronic registry applications.
     
 

We’ll be happy to discuss other tagging options that may fit your management preferences. For example, some producers prefer a visible tag (Maxi or Large) at birth with a Customized Tag. Others like the Mini-Round at birth and apply two Customized tags when the calf is a little older. The options are quite flexible!
